Product Details
The Elppá draws on the classic tennis shoe, keeping the shape clean and the details few. The upper is AppleSkin™, made with apple waste from juice production in Bolzano, Northern Italy, and finished with a recycled microfibre lining and organic cotton laces. “Sampla” is set in gold foil on the outer side, with a shamrock embossed on the heel tab.
It sits on a recycled EVA midsole with a rigid, textured rubber outsole. The sole is cemented and the welt stitching is decorative, so a cobbler can replace the outsole, or the whole sole, without touching the upper. The removable insole is made from recycled automotive materials.

Care & Maintenance
Clean with lukewarm water, a mild soap and a soft cloth, then let the pair air dry at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun. The laces can be removed and machine washed. The shoes shouldn’t go in the washing machine or tumble dryer.
When the outsole wears down, take the pair to a cobbler for a new one.
Size & Fit
For sizing, we use a unisex last that sits between a men’s medium and a women’s medium, roughly a C–D width.
